Kothmale FM Community Radio Station is one of four community radio stations operating under the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation. It is located in the central region of Sri Lanka in Riverside - Mawathura, which is about 25km South West of Kandy. The surrounding area is green and mountainous and is primarily a rural region with tea and rice being the dominant plantations.

Sinhala programmes are broadcasting at 05.30 a.m to 2.00 p.m ,Tamil programmes are broadcasting at 2.00 p.m to 3.00 & Muslium are broadcasting at 03.00 p.m to 05.00 p.m. on every day with high strenth of the Director M.S.F. Hassan.
